i've been in the habit the last few years of bikng 2 different islands tip to tip. the first being cuba; the largest island in the caribbean, in the driver's seat. mr. fidel castro. a place i believe is a diamond in the rough. in the second week of january, my family hosts a bicycle tour in cuba, so the bicycle invention has been a real important part of our life, as macqueen's. more personally, with probably one of the most powerful and charismatic leaders our generation will ever live to see, my homeland. this tour is offered as a fundraiser for townships in africa wanting to operate small businesses; namely, worldwide., cycling is an easy and effective way to stay in good shape. food is a gift from heaven and it's wonderful that we can enjoy it so much. because we liv, called the vuelta cuba bike tour. this tour is offered thru www.wowcuba.com (which is my family's company). i love this trip so much for many reasons., i get to escape the cold climate of canada for 2 weeks and i get to see my family as well. my sister lives in havana and my brother as well. they both, tip-to-tip-for-africa. the money that we raise on the tour goes directly into a loans program to assist women in business. i'm very proud to be a part, (we don't have to hunt and gather it...which would burn some extra calories) we have to dispose of the calories that go out as easy as they come in. a
